Real results from a client campaign
In just two months, one of our campaigns generated 138 enquiries, representing approximately €300,000 in potential sales pipeline, based on an average initial opportunity value of around €2,000 per enquiry.
By the end of the second month, 7 of that month’s 47 enquiries had moved to a further stage, such as a booked call, an audit or a request for more information.
Pipeline represents potential sales value, not confirmed or completed sales.
How these estimates are calculated
- Estimated enquiries per month: Our starting estimate is your monthly advertising budget divided by an illustrative average cost of around €25 per enquiry across platforms. It is an editable planning assumption.
- Estimated enquiries: Estimated enquiries per month multiplied by campaign duration.
- Estimated customers: Total enquiries multiplied by the relevant conversion rate.
- Potential initial sales: Estimated customers multiplied by the initial sale value.
- Potential pipeline: Total enquiries multiplied by the initial sale value. This assumes every enquiry represents a potential opportunity; it isn’t confirmed revenue.
- Total investment: eContent’s management fee plus advertising spend, multiplied by campaign duration.
- Sales equivalent to, or needed to cover, the investment: Total investment divided by the initial sale value (or by the initial sale value multiplied by your gross profit margin, if you enter one), rounded up to a whole sale.
- Estimated contribution: Potential initial sales multiplied by gross profit margin, minus total campaign investment.
Conversion scenarios. The conservative, moderate and stronger scenarios are illustrative estimates. The moderate scenario uses the conversion rate you enter. The conservative and stronger scenarios are set at roughly 70% and 140% of it, rounded to the nearest half percentage point. Actual conversion rates depend on lead quality, the business’s offer, response times, follow-up, sales process and time to close. Customers are shown as whole numbers, but the calculations use unrounded figures.
The initial 7% conversion assumption is informed by a client campaign. It is not measured across all eContent clients and is not an industry benchmark.
Enquiry estimates. The average cost of around €25 per enquiry behind the starting estimate is illustrative. It is not measured across all eContent clients and is not an industry benchmark. Actual costs, and therefore enquiry volumes, vary considerably between businesses, industries, platforms, budgets and campaign objectives.
Timing. The figures assume enquiries become customers within the campaign period. Some sales may close later, and estimated contribution is not necessarily cash received during the campaign.
All figures are estimates based on the information and assumptions provided. Actual results will vary and are not guaranteed.
